Founder & Director
Robin has over 30 years experience in Professional Services and Complex B2B services marketing. He specialises in helping firms really understand what clients need from them, and helping them deliver it, in order to generate stronger financial results and strategic health. The insights are directly applicable by those in the firm aiming to improve client relationships
His focus and expertise in client, market research and client relationship management experience started with over 15 years in house working for PWC, Standard and Poor’s and The Royal Bank of Scotland in private and international banking, before setting up Thriving, so he understands the internal pressures many clients face.
Robin’s main areas of expertise include undertaking and managing cost effective high quality client research projects, helping firms differentiate themselves through thought leadership, project managing pan-European CRM projects, employee feedback, training on CRM and client service issues, and helping firms and fee earners with best in class account management, and strategic targeting approaches.
Client insight associate
Martin Joy has a broad range of Board and Executive experience rarely found in client researchers, developed through a successful career in global professional, financial, insurance, oil, energy, retail, SME and corporate sectors.
Prior to working for Thriving, Martin’s in-house roles included Group IT Director and Chief Information Officer positions with responsibility for delivering business value, operational effectiveness, actionable insight and ROI through technology and data-enabled business change. He applies much of this experience throughout his work to enable clients to gain the best results from insight.
Martin engages meaningfully and effectively at all levels from managing partners and board directors through to front line staff driving a truly business-led, results-driven engagement and questioning approach with analytical rigor and insight. This assists both the interviewing and consultancy work he undertakes for Thriving
Genevieve has over 20 years experience in market research and is a very skilled in-depth qualitative researcher. This includes 5 years at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS).
She is fully bilingual in French and English which allows Thriving’s clients to easily access multinational insights.
Genevieve has undertaken several projects including detailed interviews with senior business executives in both French and English language across financial, legal, credit and FMCG sectors. She has also undertaken projects across the UK, Europe and Africa.
CRM success associate
With a wealth of knowledge in the choice, deployment and effective use of CRM and marketing systems, Shobha understands the reality of professional firm partnerships and the unique nature of the relationships those firms have with their clients and contacts.
She delivers successful outcomes from CRM programmes and a higher ROI for clients. Depending on the client’s needs, this can involve defining business requirements, processes and procedures and using her expertise in data management, evaluation and training which enhances her ability of determining fit for purpose CRM solutions and associated technologies.
Shobha also offers specific day or week based Thriving CRM and Data Audits as required, equipping firms with the insight to focus on the areas that will enhance the results from their programmes.
Claudine is responsible for all the post project reviews within the Thriving Company, together with aspects of project quality control, and financial and administrative matters. She has over 15 years experience in HR and financial services.
